Three groups from three countries have been formed to climb the highest mountains in Africa, the Iberian Peninsula and Wales.

Our Story
Raquel's cousins Josh, Mia & Charlie along with Raquel's father, Jon, Tilly, Armando, Miguel Ángel, Natalia, Susana, Mark, Mark, Jack and Harry, have formed three groups from three countries to climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in the Iberian Peninsula, Mt. Mulhacén, and the highest mountain in Wales, Mt. Snowdon in honour of Raquel who has recently passed away of CYSTIC FIBROSIS (CF). We plan to bring music equipment to the summit of Mulhacén and sing songs from London Grammar, Alice Martineau and a hit from the 80s! Raquel has always been an angel from the start. Her energy, strength, bravery and ability to excel have always been unmatched. Her pure and loving soul lives on within us all.
CF is a life-limiting genetic condition. It affects over 10,000 people across the UK and many more worldwide. It damages the lungs and digestive system and drastically shortens the lifespan as a result. As stated by Emily's message in the Supporters section below, the pain caused by CF to the sufferers, and to the family and friends surrounding them, is unreal.
Further information about CF can be found on the CF Trust website. All money received goes directly to the officially registered CF Association. The money is intended to support and benefit patients around the world.
We aim to reach the top of the mountains on 25 October 2018 to coincide with the first anniversary of Raquel's passing.

Los primos de Raquel, Josh, Mia & Charlie junto con el padre de Raquel, Jon, Tilly, Armando, Miguel Ángel, Natalia, Susana, Mark, Mark, Jack & Harry, hemos formado tres grupos de tres países para escalar la montaña más alta de África, el Kilimanjaro, la montaña más alta de la Península Ibérica, el Mulhacén, y la montaña más alta en Gales, el Snowdon, en honor a Raquel quien ha fallecido recientemente a causa de FIBROSIS QUÍSTICA (FQ). Llevaremos equipos de música a la cima del Mulhacén y cantaremos canciones de London Grammar, Alice Martineau y ¡un éxito de los 80! Raquel siempre ha sido un ángel. Su energía, fuerza, valentía y habilidad de superación han sido siempre inigualables. Su alma pura y cariñosa sigue viviendo en todos nosotros.
La FQ es una enfermedad genética que limita la vida. Afecta a más de 10.000 personas en todo el Reino Unido y a muchos más en todo el mundo. Daña los pulmones y el sistema digestivo y como resultado acorta la esperanza de vida drásticamente. Como dice Emily en su mensaje en la sección de seguidores más abajo, el dolor causado por FQ a los que la padecen, y a la familia y amigos que los rodean, es irreal.

Queremos alcanzar las cimas de las montañas el 25 de octubre de 2018 para que coincida con el primer aniversario del fallecimiento de Raquel.
